Jewelexcess is the direct-to-you brand of a family jewelry manufacturer with 25 years in the business. We design and make our jewelry in our own workshop, the same one that produces fine jewelry for major U.S. retailers.

Why are your prices lower than department stores?

We make the jewelry ourselves and sell it directly to you, so there's no distributor or department-store markup.

Are your lab-grown diamonds real diamonds?

Yes. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same hardness, sparkle and chemistry as mined diamonds. Learn more.

Who grades your lab-grown diamonds?

We use IGI (International Gemological Institute), the most widely used independent grading lab for lab-grown diamonds.

What's the difference between lab-created gemstones and natural gemstones?

Lab-created gemstones are grown in a lab and share the same chemistry and look as natural stones. Every lab-created stone is labeled "Lab-Created" in its name.

What does "14K Gold over Silver" mean?
